The Coudé Diagnostic displays are a series of displays that show the status of safety instructions that form the basis of the safety functions for the Coudé LIC. These include DCS, DCM, and CROUT instructions. The background of each is normally gray in color and changes to blue when a diagnostic code is present.

There are faceplates that show diagnostic information for each safety instruction. The faceplate varies slightly depending on the actual safety instruction. Below is an example of the dual-channel start function. This function has a diagnostic of 16480 which means that the function is not enabled. Each diagnostic code contains a description of the diagnostic information along with recommended actions.
