Purpose
This document contains the release notes for the Daniel K Inoyue Solar Telescope’s Proposal Architect (PA) tool, used for creating and submitting Proposals to request time on the telescope.
You can also view the current Proposal Call, or read about using the tool in the PA Manual. Any questions you might have, or issues you might find, can be addressed by the Helpdesk.
Release 2.0.1
Changes
Cloning an existing proposal into a new proposal is now more widely available. Because instrument wavelengths have changed between different proposals, the user will need to re-specify the wavelengths for their instruments. The user will be notified of this before cloning, and on the Submission tab.
Due to process restrictions, cloning may not be available for all proposals, but should be available for most.
Bug fixes
Some radio buttons were blank when more than one instrument was chosen and the page was reloaded. They should now display properly. This issue was cosmetic, and did not affect the data of the proposal.
Release 2.0.0
The Proposal Architect has been updated to provide a faster, cleaner, more secure experience.

More feedback is provided during the submission process
Clicking an entry that needs to be fixed will take the user to the region of the entry. Some unhiding and scrolling may still be required.
Files attached to the Proposal will have their names anonymized during the submission process, but not before. This will not affect the contents of the file.
