Operational Status
DKIST has been down 7/11 due to a brush fire near the Crater Road and the resulting power outage. HECO has reported damage to at least 3 utility poles and have been working to make repairs. Crater Road is still closed to general traffic and no visitors are allowed within the Park.

The NSO Director is on Maui this week and part of next.
Personnel
Paolo Turri a new DKIST scientist working on adaptive optics will be starting on July 29th.

Accomplishments
The Technical and Science Review of submitted Cycle 3 Proposals continues without issues and according to the plan.
Samantha Limon (Akamai Intern) and David Morris (mentor) created a new SciOps Daily Report (form) that facilitates the process of logging the activities in operations. The new form will be installed before starting OCP2.8.

Accomplishments
the Crater Road Fire is 80% contained, MECO are hoping to restore power to the summit district in the next 24 to 48 hours. The road to the summit is still closed with no current eta for opening. Discussions ongoing with authorities regarding access to summit facilities.
Catch up on LOTO training and release of new Enclosure LOTO and start of thermal systems LOTO procedures release and training.
First Aid / CPR training moved forward to take advantage of the summit closed.
