Shared Services

Shared Services come in a variety of types, including file systems, commercial products and databases. For each type, there is an associated design. For example, a relational database such as Processing Support, which can be found in the Metadata Store shared service, is described with a logical data model and data dictionary. A file system, such as the Automated Processing Scratch shared service, is described with info about its folder structure.
