I found a bug in the DKIST Data Center Calibration Pipeline - now what?

Think you may have found a bug in the DKIST Data Center (DC) science/calibration pipeline? Follow these instructions to submit a ticket regarding the issue.

DC Pipeline Bug - inferred through the Data

If the bug was inferred by analysis of downloaded data frames - submit a Help Desk ticket and include the following information:

  1. Instrument(s) used.

  2. Dataset ID(s) of the impacted dataset(s).

  3. A detailed description of the analysis performed on the data, and the resultant discrepancies that imply an error in the pipeline.

  4. Attach screen shots, pictures, and/or analytic results that may be helpful and informative.

 

DC Pipeline Bug - via inspection or running of pipeline code

If the bug was found by using and/or inspecting the Data Center science/calibration pipeline code found on GitHub & PiPY - submit a Help Desk ticket, and include the following information:

  1. Code module name.

  2. Code Version (get the package versions of everything in the environment by running the command pip freeze in python)

  3. Code repository URL address.

  4. Description of the error that occurred when using the code (attach screen shots, pictures, and/or analytic results that may be helpful and informative).

  5. Inputs/parameters to the pipeline when the error occurred.
