DKIST General
Dave B. presented an update on the status of DKIST to the AURA Solar Observatory Council (SOC).
Operational Status
We are currently in week 7 of Science Operations period OCP 2.7. The OCP2.7 window closes on Saturday, July 13.
DKIST is down 7/11 due to a brush fire near the Crater Road. Updates can be found here: https://www.mauicounty.gov/

Accomplishments
Ongoing observing support for OCP2.7.

Finalized plan for OCP2.8.

Accomplishments
Site power loss on 7/6 related to brush fire below park in ranch land.
Stacey (DE for 7/8) & James (ETech) went to site on Sun 7/7 am to check over facility. All power on summit down. Generator running.
HECO Power returned 2:30pm hst 7/7
Recover started first thing Mon 7/8 with all systems back up ready for obs start up by 11:20am!!!!
12:20pm mon 7/8 back on sun observing! What a team!
Prep for the coming Eng 2024C starting 7/15.
InstOps team
Accomplishments
Received draft VTF plan for the third campaign in November.
Finalized schedule for July Engineering 2024C.
Supported SOC discussions on instrumentation.
Created HLS Pono 8 release branch in preparation for deployment next week.
Data Center team
Accomplishments
R. Tawa presented to the SOC on the status of the DKIST Data Center.
Update the Portal to show Observation Wavelength on the main view
Implemented the upgrade to CEPH to version 16.2.15 (Pacific)
Created Tests for the migration of quick look movies to Vimeo.
