NX-P500 Radio Cloning Procedure

1. Make sure radios have sufficient battery charge.

2. Power on SOURCE radio (one that has desired configuration) by simultaneously holding the PTT button and the UP arrow button. Display will momentarily show CLonE and then display F9- 1. 3.

Repeat the above for the DESTINATION radio.

4. Start the wireless programming from the SOURCE radio by momentarily pressing the PTT button. Source radio will have a RED flashing led and progress of programming spelling CLonE. When finished it will display End. Momentarily press the raised dimple button on the front of source radio to make ready to program the next radio without having to power down.

5. DESTINATION radio will have a green led and progress of programming spelling PRoG. It will then display own-01.

Using the UP and DOWN buttons, change the DESTINATION radio’s Callers I.D. (Cid) to desired number between 1-99. Press the PTT button and check that DESTINATION radio now has the same programming as the source radio.
