Enclosure Altitude Encoder WCS Module Upgrade Instructions

After installing the WCS config software, it’s worthwhile to read the readme file in the help section of the software.

The basic process is as follows.

When updating the WCS-EIG10, you’ll need to connect via a RS232 breakout box - RS232 connections are as follows:

Both Rotary Switches need to be set to F and the unit disconnected from the network and rebooted.

Upload the config to the PF WCS Config tool, change the following:

IP Address : 10.2.9.173 (WCS for encoder #1)

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 0.0.0.0

Download.

Reset rotary switches S4 = 4, S5 =0

Reconnect Network

Reboot.
