Operational Status

• We are currently in week 2 of Science Operations period OCP 2.7.

Events

• NSF CA extension review took place at NSO in Boulder - 6/4-6/6

Personnel

SciOps and OpsTools team

Accomplishments

• Presented to the NSF review committee - 6/5

• Implemented (observed) two proposals.

• On standby for Sunrise III co-observing (daily until launch).

• Sent out reminders for Cycle 3 Proposal Call submission window closure on June 12th.

• Hotfixed/Revisioned experiments and deployed to the summit.

TechOps team

Accomplishments

• Presented to the NSF review committee - 6/5

• FAA laydown area - remains of construction era office trailers demolished and removed, 4 out of 5 containers empty and ready for removal from site.

• ongoing Obs support both regular and troubleshooting (Level 2 fault on thermal system and recovery, support Inst Grp in Cryo ADC replacement, Network issue and cascade faults).

• concurrent Maintenance task eg pumps / transformers / air compressors.

• Testing / inspection and storage of new balanced lifting bridle for M1 handling activities.

InstOps team

Accomplishments

• Presented to the NSF review committee - 6/5

• HLS hotfix for LOWFS issues found during observing

• Repair of Cryo-NIRSP ADC issue

• On-sun/Gos background tasks to improve data analysis

Data Center team

Accomplishments

• Presented to the NSF review committee - 6/5

• Scaled airflow (pipeline scheduler and work manager) from 128 workers to 256 workers in preparation for the expected increased Cryo-Nirsp workload when the pipeline is accepted.

• Made ID based searches on the portal case insensitive.
