InstOps team

Accomplishments

  • Ongoing Instrumentation support for OCP 2.8

  • Planning completed for September engineering work.

  • Contract started for M9b construction.

  • Testing of DL-NIRSP and ViSP software during bad weather.

Data Center team

Accomplishments

  • ongoing ingestion and processing of data for OCP 2.8

  • Completed Cryo-NIRSP trial#8 and released the Cryo-NIRSP pipeline V1.0

  • Began processing the backlog of Cryo-NIRP data in DC stores. Currently at about 75% through the backlog. Estimated failure rate on pipeline runs is currently about 20-25%, mostly due to missing data or problems with correlations These will be triaged after the runs are completed

  • updated the quality report generation to allow 1D binning (a mode that DL-NIRSP uses) in PolCal metrics.

  • Refactored quality metrics code to speed it up. Current DL-NIRSP runs were taking an order of magnitude longer to run than previous instruments.
