Operational Status

• DKIST is in week 2 of Engineering period 2024d.

SciOps and OpsTools team

Accomplishments

• Changes implemented for experiments Fido 3c and Fido 3a. The experiments are ready to be sent to the summit for execution.

• Chief SOS interviews are in progress in collaboration with HR.

• The science Operations staff schedule has been updated according to new dates for snow cleaning during OCP2.9.

• Scientists are testing the experiments required for the co-observing initiatives on the DKIST simulator.

• Continued support for Engineering period 2024D

• Upgraded DL-NIRSP slit mask stage, tested, and aligned

• Replaced Cryo-NIRSP window O-ring and cooled down the context imager

• Continued monitoring the Cryo-NIRSP controller behavior

• Cleaned the GOS inverse pinhole

• Tested new Vibratron software

• Installed and tested software updates for VBI, ViSP, and DL-NIRSP

• Tested and released final version of Pono 9 software

• Final planning for IR Camera management review in October

• Continued organizing for Winter shutdown

Data Center team

Accomplishments

• Completed and update of the Ceph cluster to the latest version (Reef)

• Created Integration tests for dkist-processing-ops Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs)

• Updated the portal to make related datasets discoverable
