DKIST General
DKIST submitted the NSF-requested Concept of Operations plan December 18, 2024. An external review of the plan will take place on Maui the week of February 10, 2025.
Operational Status
DKIST is in week 2 of Engineering period Eng 2024f.

SciOps and OpsTools team
Accomplishments
Continued work on Cycle 2 closing activities in collaboration with the Data Center team and the VBI team.
Cycle 3 Experiment generation (ongoing).
TechOps team
Accomplishments
Worked on the DKIST Concept of Operations plan.
Start of Annual Electrical Panel Maintenance where does not interrupt Eng work.
Enclosure Shutter Testing with migrated code.
Enclosure cable wrap hose surgical removal with prejudice and start of new hose installation.
Aperture plate system valve disassembly / rebuild and system refill and test.

InstOps team
Accomplishments
Worked on the DKIST Concept of Operations plan.
Completed coude installation of the MCAO DM tables and M9b/M9a table.
Completed metrology on coudé optical systems.
Completed review of IR Camera thermal analysis and latest mechanical design iteration.
Continued work on MCAO 11km options for manufacture.
Closed out all VTF Nov/Dec 2024 campaign tickets.
Data Center team

Accomplishments
Worked on the DKIST Concept of Operations plan.
Submitted the DKIST Monthly Site Safety report for November 2024.
Fall protection training was completed by summit crews.
Maui Fire Dept. gave us hands on Fire Extinguisher training utilizing a fun digital simulator.
The EHS team had their first onboarding meeting with our new safety management application, Sospes. We looking to start to roll out Mid-January.
Completed the install of the new choking rescue devices from LifeVac on the summit and the DSSC.
