How do I find my DKIST data?

This article describes specifically how Principal Investigators (PIs) (and Co-Investigators (Co-I)) may search for their data on the DKIST Data Portal. For an article on more general searches (unrelated to PIs), go to Portal Search Instructions.

  3. The user must have an active endpoint for Globus data transfers (see : how to set up an endpoint).

  4. Note that data which is not yet processed is not visible in the DC Portal (processing could be on the order of ~1 month).

Steps to Search for Your Data

    1. You must be logged into the Portal to see this option!

  4. The new filter “INVESTIGATED BY ME” will appear with in the search parameter filter list.

  5. Additional filters can also be applied to narrow down the search even further as needed.

  7. The search results will be date-ordered with the most recent data at the top of the list

    1. “Datetime (UTC)” and “Instrument” columns can be used to sort the search results

  8. Proceed to download to your Globus endpoint

If you are the PI/Co-I and you are unable to find your data using the instructions listed above, please try to use the Proposal ID(s) to find your data. Note that data which is not yet processed is not visible in the DC Portal. If you cannot resolve the issue yourself, please submit a Help Desk ticket.
