Data Center Archive data search results don't return my data for proposal X

Summary

This article describes specifically how Principal Investigators (PIs) (and Co-Investigators (CoI)) may search for their data on the DKIST Data Center Archive Portal and how to troubleshoot when encountering problems. Instructions

  • Please review the article on “How do I find my DKIST data?” to get started.

  • Please review the Portal Manual (DKIST Data Center Search Portal Manual) to be sure you are performing the search correctly.

  • If you are still having issues, please read through the list of possible reasons why this could have occurred and assist the Help Desk in narrowing down the issue (by following the solution instructions below (in green)).

 

 

Data requested (expected) is not available yet due to one of the following:

  • The Experiment has been run, but the associated calibration data is not complete yet for pipeline processing and therefore has not been processed by the Data Center

  • It is not available yet (sill being quality inspected during the Operations Commissioning Phase (OCP) only)

  • The Experiment hasn’t been run yet and therefore no data has been processed nor made available

  • Datasets may take weeks to process, please be patient prior to sending a request to the DKIST staff

  • The PI will receive a notification when the data are made available; searching prior to this notification will not produce the results you’re for. Users must be patient.

 

 

Users need to be patient for data availability. Please read through the list of Help Desk Articles provided to be sure the issue is not a misunderstanding of the search or results. Otherwise please submit a Help Desk ticket.
